German born Julia Draganovic is the Artistic Director of PAN | Palazzo delle Arti Napoli since January 2007. For PAN she curated group shows like “Dedica”, “Heros! Like us?”, “Footprints into the Future”, “The Enterprise of Art” and “My Space. What does ‘public’mean?”. She was the project leader for PAN’s partnership in the Art Radio Live project by the PS1/MoMa New York at the Venice Biennial 2007. She is curator (with Maria Vergiani) of PAN’s series “International Forum on Documentation and New Media Art”.
2005 - 2006 Artistic Director of the Chelsea Art Museum, New York.
2001 – 2006 consultant for Visual Arts for the Chiesa di San Paolo of the Province of Modena (Italy).
2000- 2004 Director for Visual Arts of the Castel of Ettersburg (Germany).
1999 - 2003 Director of the European Studio Programme of the ACC Gallery and the City of Weimar (Germany).
Draganovic is the founder of the Kulturbüro LaRete in Weimar, Germany as well as the non for profit association LaRete in Modena, Italy, she curated shows in Germany, Italy, Spain and the United States.
She lectured in Europe and the United States and her essays where published in innumerous catalogues and art books as well as in the Kunstzeitung, Arte e Critica and Flash Art.
